SIDIKPOST | JAKARTA – Peristiwa dugaan penganiayaan yang menimpa seorang wanita Indonesia asal Bali bernama Ega Kusuma Winahyu (27) oleh pacarnya yang merupakan warga negara Prancis, Arthur Stepene Marvel Raymon, di Thailand, telah menarik perhatian publik.
Divisi Hubungan Internasional (Hubinter) Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) telah menghubungi otoritas Thailand untuk mengikuti perkembangan kasus ini.
“Hubinter telah berkomunikasi dengan otoritas Thailand untuk mengambil tindakan lanjut terkait perkara ini,” ungkap Kadiv Hubinter Polri, Inspektur Jenderal Krishna Murti kepada wartawan pada Jumat (28/7/2023).
Namun, Krishna menegaskan bahwa hal terpenting saat ini adalah korban harus bersedia untuk menjalani pemeriksaan di Thailand. Pasalnya, kejadian penganiayaan tersebut terjadi di wilayah Thailand.
“Tetapi yang menjadi kunci adalah kesediaan korban untuk datang ke Thailand guna dilakukan BAP (Berkas Acara Pemeriksaan) karena kejadian penganiayaan terjadi di sana,” jelasnya.
Krishna menambahkan bahwa pihaknya bersama dengan Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Bali akan memberikan pendampingan bagi korban selama proses pemeriksaan di Thailand.
“Hubinter dan Polda Bali akan mendampingi korban jika beliau bersedia diperiksa di sana,” ujarnya.
Kasus ini mendapatkan perhatian besar karena melibatkan Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) sebagai korban dalam insiden penganiayaan yang terjadi di luar negeri.
Masyarakat berharap agar pelaku dapat ditindak sesuai hukum dan korban mendapatkan keadilan atas peristiwa tragis yang menimpanya di Thailand. Publik akan terus mengikuti perkembangan selanjutnya terkait kasus ini dan berharap korban dapat mendapatkan kepastian hukum segera.
