SIDIKPOST| Banten- Kakor Binmas Baharkam Polri Irjen Pol Herry Wibowo mengunjungi keluarga Sukrani (58), anggota Kelompok Panitia Pemungutan Suara (KPPS) di Desa Legok Sukamaju Kecamatan Kemiri, Kabupaten Tangerang. Sukrabi adalah anggota KPPS yang meninggal 2 hari usai pelaksanaan pemungutan suara atau Jumat (10/5/19).
Kedatangan jenderal bintang dua itu disambut isak tangis Suadah (56) dan Siti Mamas (19) yang merupakan istri dan putri almarhum. Saat berbincang, Suadah mengungkapkan, sebelum menjadi anggota KPPS, suaminya memang sudah mengidap demam dan sakit pada bagian perut.
“Sebelumnya juga sudah beberapa kali berobat,” kata Suadah.
Isak tangis makin pecah saat Herry berbincang dengan putri almarhum, Siti Mamas. Siti, begitu ia disapa, menceritakan kesedihanya karena teringat janji sang ayah untuk melunasi biaya penebusan ijazah yang sudah satu tahun tertahan di sekolah. Namun, kata Siti, belum sempat melunasi biaya ijazah, sang ayah telah berpulang.
“Ijazah belum diambil, tidak bisa melamar kerja,” kata Siti Mamas sambil menangis.
Mendengar penuturan putri almarhum, Herry kemudian memberikan bantuan agar untuk menebus ijazah. Herry bahkan menawari Siti Mamas untuk menjadi anggota polwan. Penawaran itu, kata Herry, untuk menguatkan dan memotivasi keluarga terutama putri almarhum.
“Segera tebus ijazahnya, kalau nilainya bagus, daftar jadi polwan,” ujarnya.
Herry mengatakan, sudah memberikan nomor telepon selulernya ke keluarga almarhum. Ia meminta, saat ijazah sudah diambil, difoto kemudian dikirimkan kepadanya.
“Foto ijazah kirim ke saya, saya berharap nilainya bagus, akan kami bantu daftar jadi polwan,” ungkapnya.
Selain mengunjungi keluarga anggota KPPS yang meninggal, Herry juga mengunjungi Koko (34), penderita lumpuh sejak lahir di Desa Patra, Kecamatan Kemiri. Herry juga mengunjungi nenek Karni (68) yang menderita katarak sejak 20 tahun silam. Kepada keduanya, Herry menawarkan bantuan medis. Nenek Marni bahkan diawari menjalani operasi sesegera mungkin.
“Ini kegiatan atau gerakan kemanusiaan. Tak ada tendensi apa-apa, bulan Ramadan, kita perbanyak kebaikan untuk sesama,” tandas Herry. ( Red).
