SIDIKPOST| Pangdam IV/Diponegoro Mayjen TNI Mohamad Effendi, S.E., M.M. turut memeriahkan acara Dies Natalis ke-54 Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) di Kampus UNNES Sekaran Gunungpati Semarang, Rabu (6/3).
Acara yang mengambil tema “UNNES Medunia untuk Indonesia” ini juga diikuti Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum, Sekda Provinsi Jateng Dr. Ir. Sri Puryono, Gubernur Akpol Irjen Pol Rycko Amelza Dahniel, Wali Kota Semarang Hendar Prihadi dan para Cevitas Akademi beserta Mahasiswa dan Mahasiswi UNNES.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Pangdam IV/Diponegoro menyampaikan pesan kepada seluruh yang hadir, khususnya kepada para Mahasiswa/Mahasiswi, dengan mengusung tema medunia untuk Indonesia, bila kita memiliki wawasan yang mendunia jangan lupa kita juga harus memiliki wawasan tentang jati diri kita sebagai bangsa Indonesia.
Bangsa Indonesia merupakan bangsa yang besar, terdiri dari 17 ribu pulau dan 1300 suku bangsa dan dibangun oleh satu komitmen para pendiri bangsa yakni berbeda-beda tetapi satu jukan (Bhinneka Tungal Ika).
“Oleh karena itu kita boleh dan harus memiliki wawasan seluas-luasnya agar dapat sejajar dengan bangsa lain namun jangan lupa kita harus tau jati diri kita sebagai bangsa Indonesia”, pungkasnya.
Kegiatan dies natalis diisi dengan gerak jalan bersama dari lapangan Prof DR Dumadi menuju kantor Rektor, peresmian Unit Layanan Terpadu, penanaman pohon durian Malika kaki empat, dan foto bersama di depan Gedung Rektor UNNES. ( Red).
