SIDIKPOST.COM| Kodim Klaten – Untuk meningkatkan eksistensi Linmas yang saat ini sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat, Rabu (22/1/2019) dilaksanakan Sarasehan Linmas bertempat di rumah makan Bu Edi Soto Desa Nanggulan Kecamatan Cawas Kabupaten Klaten.
Hadir dalam kegitan tersebut Kepala Desa Nanggulan Suroto Babinsa Serma Agus Setya Hartana, Perangkat Desa, Linmas se desa Nanggulan.
Dalam sambutanya Kepala Desa Nanggulan Suroto mengatakan bahwa sarasehan Linmas se Desa Nanggulan untuk meningkatkan eksitensi selalu bekerjasama dalam menghadapi pilpres dan pileg tahun 2019
Untuk optimalisasi perlindungan masyarakat ada beberapa program diantaranya merekrut linmas yang muda, reorganisasi struktur, meningkatkan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana penunjang tugas operasional linmas selain itu pemberian intensif atau kompensasi kepada anggota linmas
Suroto juga memberikan informasi tentang tahapan, program dan jadwal penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2019. Selain tahapan yang dilaksanakan, baik pemilu satu putaran ataupun dua putaran, dia juga menyampaikan tugas linmas pada proses Pemilu 2019. Tugas tersebut adalah menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masa tahapan pemilu, merawat hak pilih warga, melaksanakan sosialisasi dan pendidikan bagi masyarakat serta menjadi petugas keamanan TPS.
Sementara itu Babinsa Koramil 20 Cawas Serma Agus Setya Hartana menjelaskan dalam acara Sarasehan Linmas adalah untuk mengantisipasi gangguan Kamtibmas dalam menghadapi Pilpres dan Pileg tahun 2019, Linmas harus kompak dalam bekerjasama untuk terwujudnya situasi yang aman kondusif. Apabila adanya gangguan ketentraman warga masyarakat, Linmas juga berperan melindungi masyarakat dengan bekerja bersama Babinsa
Linmas Diharapkan peka terhadap lingkungan, bekerjasama menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban wilayah kecamatan Cawas Khususnya di Desa Nanggulan ini.
Babinsa mengajak peran linmas dalam perlindungan masyarakat ditingkatkan untuk mengantisipasi masuknya faham yang tidak jelas dan dapat mengganggu ketenangan masyarakat selain itu linmas jangan terpancing situasi yang akan memperkeruh keadaan,
Waspadai dan di data bila ada pendatang yang masuk kewilayah menginggat wilayah ini wilayah perbatasan maraknya kegiatan peredaran narkoba yang meresahkan dan tidak menutup kemungkinan pelarian teroris masuk kewilayah ini.
